Well well well, I am still alive but just barely. I've been very busy with school and the second I gathered up all my art work to scan I find that my scanner is now a malfunctioning piece of HP shit. But aside from that once I get my hands on a new scanner I have a few surprises. I've started to put together my portfolio so I will be posting pictures of some of my 3-D art when I get the chance. It shouldn't take me too long. I just need to get my ass into the studio and get some good lighting.

On the other hand I have been a complete bum lately when it comes to just sitting down and sketching for fun but I once again took my pencil up and bought a new sketch book to start all over again and see how far college has taken me and to be honest I was quite shocked to see the progress I've made with gray scale drawings. Before I couldn't get the colors right to save my life but now I can do it! My shading is much better and cleaner than it used to be and my understanding of anatomy has evolved a good bit.

SCARE OF THE WEEK: About two days ago I took a giant chunk out of my left index finger. Literally huge. It's about the size of an elongated dime. What happened was my fault but hey it hurts like a mo'fo let me tell you. This all happened from me not paying attention when I was turning on a lathe in my furniture and turning class. I was asking for it to happen. I took my attention away for one second and got my finger caught between the tool rest and the still spinning wood. The wood spun my skin right off. It's considered a burn but hey it's not so bad until I have to clean it. Then it's a totally different story. It's a field day of pure stings and throbbing for about 20 minutes. But I count myself extremely lucky. I could have lost my finger.
